Mutton bone broth recipe:

It is highly nutritious and also good for health. It helps to cure fever, cough, hand and limb pain. 

Ingredients:

  • Ghee 2 tablespoons
  • Cloves 4 to 5
  • Whole black pepper half teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds half teaspoon
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Cinnamon stick  1
  • Mutton bones half kg 
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Onion  chopped 1 medium
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Garam masala powder half  tsp
  • Water 2 liter or as required
  • Fresh coriander chopped 1-2 tbsp.
  • Mint leaves chopped 1-2 tbsp.
  • Ginger julienne 1 tbsp.
  • Turmeric powder half teaspoon

Directions:

  • Wash the bones well before going to cook them.
  • Take a pot, add two 2 tablespoons of ghee, and let it melt.
  • Add cloves, half tsp whole black pepper, half tsp cumin seeds, 2 bay leaves, cinnamon stick, mutton bones, and mix well.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and mix it well.
  • Then add chopped onion and also mix it well.
  • Add black pepper powder, salt, garam masala powder, and mix it well with the other spices.
  • Then add water to it and mix it well.
  • Add freshly chopped coriander, chopped mint leaves and ginger, turmeric powder, mix well and bring it to boil.
  • Cover partially and cook on low flame for about 4 to 5 hours.
  • When the broth has reduced to half, lower the flame and boil it gently.
